Everyone who runs a business has a story to tell. Their story, like their business, is held together by perseverance, dedication, creativity and resourcefulness. Many business owners today are so busy running their businesses that they seldom take time to reflect on their history.

The Blue Chip Business Award Program, organized by WestPoint Financial Group, encourages business owners to celebrate their journey by sharing their story. We want to hear about the challenges that were overcome, the opportunities that were seized and the triumphs that were achieved. More importantly, we want an opportunity to publicly recognize their achievements by presenting the coveted Blue Chip Business Award.

The award, a symbol of strength and dedication, is given to a select group of companies each year. Recipients are selected by an independent panel of prestigious judges as embodying the spirit of business success.

Many past recipients report that the recognition and publicity they received led to significant opportunities for business growth. They join an elite group that works together providing valuable support and advice.

In 2003 the program grew beyond awards by establishing a series of four workshops. The workshops are available only to past award recipients and deal with issues that the board deems relevant to the group. Topics include issues such as succession planning, controlling healthcare costs and maximizing technology. By continually expanding the program The Blue Chip Business Award has grown from just recognition to a resource program for business owners.
